Grammar Review 2

This class is for foreign students who have already studied English in their native countries, and who wish to review the basics of the English language. This course is designed for intermediate and advanced students. In Level 2 we expect to cover such topics as: gerunds, (when a verb ends in -ing, it may be a gerund or a present participle. It is important to understand that they are not the same.), infinitives, adjective clauses, noun clauses, conditionals, verb tenses as necessary, passive voice as necessary. Homework will be given every lesson. The purpose of homework is practice; it is a chance for you to experiment with and attempt to use the structures we study. Homework is not supposed to be perfect, but it is necessary. Participation is important. You may be asked to work with partners or in groups. Asking question is also very important because it helps your classmates and makes the class more interesting.
