Build Your Own Custom PC for Teens  

Build a computer from the ground up and install an operating system in this hands-on class. Pick the components you want, assemble your PC, and take it home at the end of class. Get hands-on experience with IDE and SCSE hard drives, memory installation and Intel and AMD processors and troubleshooting. Mod your computer using lights, windows and fans. We'll talk about video cards and discuss current products from ATI and nVidia. You'll meet before class starts (we encourage parents to attend this session) to discuss choices. Purchase your component choices and start building the first day of class.
