Introduction to Instructional Design  

In this hybrid class (9 hours of classroom sessions and 6 hours of online course material), learn to design efficient, effective instructional programs by analyzing the target audience and training needs, identifying meaningful objectives, and determining appropriate testing methodologies. Explore the development of varied media and methodologies, rapid prototyping, repurposing, and customizing. Required text: Rapid Instructional Design, G Piskurich, 2006
Course yields 11 units toward PHR/SPHR re-certification.
