A picture is worth a thousand words, but in the stock market, it’s worth thousands of dollars. This two-hour seminar illustrates the many significant advantages of learning to read price and volume charts. We'll discuss those tools and websites that are unknown to the vast majority of the public but which are used profitably every day on Wall Street. Our objective is to teach investors to analyze their stocks, funds or ETF’s quickly and easily without information-overload and to be able to tell whether their equities are acting bullish or bearish. For participants, understanding charts will increase their probability of making sensible investment decisions and healthy profits.
About the instructor:
The course provides a comprehensive basket of “essentials” gleaned from Gatis’ lifelong investing career and over 15 years of experience as an educator in this field for Bellevue College. First and foremost, Gatis Roze is a veteran full-time trader. He is also a Chartered Market Technician (CMT), holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and is the past president of the Technical Securities Analysts Association (TSAA). After four successful entrepreneurial ventures, the last a high-tech Silicon Valley company which was taken public on the NASDAQ, he retired in his 40s. For the past 25 years, he has concentrated on trading his own account full-time, unburdened by the distraction of clients. Given his consistent success as an investor and his reputation as an outstanding communicator, he began teaching investments at the post-college level, and he has done so since 2000.
