Acrylics for Teens
Learn everything you need to know to get started with painting. Class includes fundamental lessons on color, composition, paint handling techniques, and strategies for sketching and exploring with paint. The week starts with some basic painting assignments to get warmed up, but then quickly transitions to the interests of the individual students. The goals of this class are twofold: To gain some skills and then to create some personal works of art. We will look at some famous art movements and styles to open up discussions and help students choose directions, then the instructor will help you to advance your own paintings.
