Portrait Sculpting
This course will teach you how to sculpt the human face from clay, while observing a live model. You will learn the bones and anatomy of the face and how to; correctly block in the human face, use variation in forms to create “movement”, use relative comparison to make features the correct size, and train your eyes to recognize natural shapes and sharp/ soft transitions. Instructor, Lance Dooley, is a graduate from the Florence Academy of Art Sculpting Program; awarded best sculpture of the year 2008. Cost includes model fees and some materials.
