Color in the Digital Age  

This course is designed for artists interested in color theory fundamentals and the practical application of color in graphic design. Learn about the color wheel and color harmony and explore the emotional messages of color. Receive an introduction to how color is created in the most common graphic design software applications. Class includes lectures, discussions, and group exercises.

Completion of Photoshop Level 1 strongly recommended.

Required text: "Understanding Color: An Introduction for Designers" by Linda Holtzschue, ISBN: 978-0-470-38135-9.

Bring a USB drive to the first class.
