|Medical Transcription Editor
Approved by the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI), the Medical Transcription Editor program prepares students to work in medical transcription and editing. Topics studied include medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, healthcare documentation, and editing theory and technique, among others. Students also develop their typing and listening skills on hundreds of authentic, employer-provided dictations. Enrollment includes ten textbooks, a transcription foot pedal, a 15-month membership to AHDI, a voucher to take the RHDS and a 15-month subscription to an online reference library. Everything you need to succeed is included in one, low tuition payment. This 640 hour, online program provides students 24/7 access, is self-paced and is designed to be completed in one year or less.
