Investing, Taxes and Personal Finance

Do you want to invest more effectively, reduce your taxes and do a better job of managing your finances? Are you interested in real estate or entrepreneurship? Would you like to learn how to defeat negative financial behaviors like procrastination, impulsiveness or stress? Would you simply like to form better financial habits and make better decisions? In this personal finance class, we examine both the technical and emotional sides of building a secure and rewarding future. By the end of the four day class, students should have a fundamental understanding of how investment markets work, how the tax code is structured and how human behavior sometimes leads to sub-optimal decisions. The instructor is an accountant and financial adviser. He does not sell financial or insurance products and this class will not be used to dispense specific tax or investment advice.
