Navigating Change  

Discover how to apply proven techniques to help your team accept, embrace, and champion change. Understand the challenges of change, and assess your own change-readiness. Develop the skills required to manage the human side of change more effectively. Based on lessons from Managing Transitions by William Bridges and The Leadership Challenge Workbook by James Kouzes and Barry Posner. Recommended Prerequisite: Previous training or experience in basic planning.

Integrating lessons from William Bridges’ Managing Transitions, this course focuses on how to manage the human side of change. The course will introduce the challenges of change, and help students assess their own change-readiness. Students will develop skills in managing transitions and applying proven techniques to help people accept and embrace change.

Prerequisites: Previous training or experience in basic planning techniques is recommended.

Required textbook: Managing Transitions, 3rd ed. by William Bridges. Recommended textbook: The Leadership Challenge Workbook, 3rd ed. by James Kouzes and Barry Posner.
