This class is the place to begin if you have never taken any yoga or a minimal amount and need a safe starting point with an experienced, trained instructor. Class begins with learning the importance of the breath and various techniques in a seated position, moving into gentle warming stretches. Standing poses, sun salutation, core exercises and a relaxation complete this well- rounded class. Individual attention given with focus on proper alignment, form and adaptations.
Relaxed setting provides a safe space to just be yourself. Props may be used. Bring yoga mat, towel, and water bottle. Instructor is both yoga and Pilates certified with 30 years of experience.
