Glass Beadmaking: Beginning

Explore the amazing art of glass beadmaking. Using a bench top torch you will transform colorful Italian glass rods into your own collection of beautiful handmade glass beads. Multiple beadmaking techniques, glass compatibility, tools & equipment, and set-up and safety will be covered. The workshop will balance demonstration and torch time, with as much one-on-one instruction as possible. Wear long-sleeved cotton clothing and no open-toed shoes; bring a sack lunch.
