C# for Testers
This class teaches testers how to use C# to automate software testing and software development of small programs. While this class assumes no knowledge of C#, it's designed for software testers who have a basic knowledge of programming concepts. Topics and hands-on exercises include testing database applications and debugging C# applications (white box testing techniques). Students will use C# as a testing tool, including constructing testing utilities and the fundamentals of writing code to test an application.
Prerequisite: C# Programming:1 or Scripting/ Programming Fundamentals (or equivalent knowledge).
Textbook required: Pro C# 2010 and the .NET 4 Platform, 5th Edition ISBN # 978-1430225492 (available in the North Campus Bookstore).
