Medical Coding: ICD-9-CM Diagnosis
This course provides intensive introduction to medical diagnosis (ICD-9-CM) coding, and builds on the previous course covering CPT coding. Completing the two courses helps prepare students to take professional credentialing exam through the Am. Health Information Management Assoc. (Certified Coding Associate credential) or through the Am. Academy of Professional Coders (Certified Professional Coder credential). Prerequisite: CPT class or instructor approval.
