Databases Designs and Concepts (1.2 CEUs)  

Learn how to create real-world, professional databases. In this class you will see how data base designs affect usability and performance and how you can design for both. You will learn the rules of ‘normalization’ and when to bend those rules as you create multiple database prototypes in class. This class will be taught using Microsoft SQL server, the concepts learned are applicable to all database software. Prerequisites: Familiarity with spreadsheets and the Windows Operating System. Textbook included ($50 value).
