BLAST OFF with Rocket Camp (Grades 4-6)
Fly Water Rockets! Fly Engine-Powered Rockets!
Apply the concepts of physics and Newton's laws of motion to construct and fly water rockets and engine-powered rockets.
The Rocketry and Flight Camp provides students with an in-depth study of the principles of rocketry and flight as well as hands-on experience with these principles by constructing and launching air-rockets, water-rockets, engine-powered rockets, rubber-band airplanes, the use of flight simulation software, and guest speakers from NASA and Lockheed-Martin.
Class will meet on a Saturday after the class ends to launch rockets!
