|Fitness and Team Building (Grades 1-3)
In fitness and team building camp, children will have fun learning and exploring various ways of obtaining physical fitness along with team building activities.
This camp will consist of mental/ physical activities and games which focus on cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, flexibility, sportsmanship and decision making. Specific activities include yoga, Pilates, aerobics, kick-boxing, bocce ball and their favorite P.E. activities. Campers will learn healthy eating habits, create their own games and exercise routines, work with pedometers and learn how to check and monitor their heart rate. The skills learned in this camp will encourage children to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.
