Culinary Apprenticeship Certificate Program  

The Culinary Apprenticeship Certificate is an intensive program designed for aspiring culinary professionals with a passion for food who want something more than the traditional classroom-based culinary education program. Students work hands-on in the kitchen with a team of accomplished professional chefs who will provide the tools needed to succeed in the restaurant, hospitality and catering industries. Apprenticeship venues include fine dining restaurants, top tier hotels and high-end caterers. Approximately 15 hours a week will be scheduled in addition to classroom time.

Course fee includes classroom instruction, textbook, workbook, apprenticeship placement, and chef's coat. Additional costs for students include chef's pants, slip-resistant shoes, transportation cost to and from apprenticeship sites, and your own knives. You will receive more information about these additional costs upon acceptance into the program.

This program is now eligible for VA Education Benefits

Prerequisite: Students are required to complete an admissions process which includes a background check, waiver of liability and proof of health insurance. High school diploma or equivalency. Learn more about the Culinary Apprenticeship.
