TESOL Linguistics covers immersion in the elements constituting language: phonology, morphology, phonetics, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and how language is learned across age levels.
Research, discussions, group projects and reports are all part of the coursework in the Linguistics class for TESOL.
This course meets in the classroom on Saturdays for five or six weeks with a one hour break for lunch.
This course earns 3 PLUs. Prerequisite: You must establish and maintain an account on the distance learning website and have access to the internet and email to participate in this class.
