If you began your coursework prior to July 2013, you may combine online and classroom courses NOT INCLUDING Teaching Grammar, to earn a 100 to 120 hour certificate, depending on courses taken.
TESOL Linguistics covers immersion in the elements constituting language: phonology, morphology, phonetics, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and how language is learned across age levels.
Research, discussions, group projects and reports are all part of the coursework in the Linguistics class for TESOL.
