TESOL - Elements of Linguistics and Language Acquisition  

You may take online and classroom courses in any combination to earn the 120-hour certificate.

TESOL Linguistics covers immersion in the elements constituting language: phonology, morphology, phonetics, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and how language is learned across age levels.

Research, discussions, group projects and reports are all part of the coursework in the Linguistics class for TESOL.

These courses meet in the classroom on Saturdays for six weeks. ** Exceptions of (5), 6-hour sessions as noted.

This course earns 3 PLUs. Prerequisite: You must establish and maintain an account on the Moodle Distance Learning system, have access to the internet and email to participate in this class.
