TESOL - Methods and Materials for Teaching ESOL  

The TESOL Methods and Materials course focuses on effective methods for teaching Grammar, Pronunciation, Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Presents techniques and strategies including how to locate, evaluate, and adapt materials for specific ESL/EFL classroom environments. Become familiar with lesson planning and assessment tools for all the skill areas. Also observe and summarize ESL/EFL classroom teaching in your local area.

Prerequisite: You must establish and maintain an account on the distance learning website and have access to the internet and email to participate in this class.

This course meets in the classroom on Saturdays for five or six weeks with a one hour break for lunch.
