The World of Puppetry (Grades 3-6)
Welcome to the world of Puppetry! In this 5 day camp you will make your own puppets and bring them to life with movement and voice. Campers will make multiple puppets from Sock Puppets to Muppet-style Puppets! Instructor, J. Star, has worked with Hensen puppeteers to learn tips and techniques that he passes on to you! He has worked with puppets all of his life, but has taught puppetry and puppet building to kids and adults for the past 3 years. J.Star directs and performs in Puppet Shows of all kinds at The Basement Theatre from Improvised Puppet Shows and Puppet Slams to Puppet Musicals! Camp will end with a show put together by the campers and their newly created puppets!
