Learn about how to structure webpage content using XHTML (eXtensible HyperText Markup Language) and how to style your content using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). CSS allows the designer to control the look and feel of the Web page content (written in XHTML). Students will be introduced to Dreamweaver as an editing tool and gain hands-on experience in slicing and implementing a basic website design created in Photoshop. Textbook is "Beginning HTML, XHTML, CSS and Javascript" by Jon Duckett and is available at the KSU Center Bookstore. This is the third course in the Fundamentals of Web Design Certificate.
Prerequisite: Working knowledge of computers and some Photoshop experience.
