Nutritional Therapist Training
Nutritional Therapist Training Program - 4.5 CEU
Become a Nutritional Therapist in this exciting and unique 14-Module course presented by The Nutritional Therapy Association, Inc. The course is taught over 8 months (fall, winter and spring quarter) and will train you to analyze nutritional deficiencies, balance body chemistry, and help others achieve vibrant health and wellness. Graduates of the Nutritional Therapist Training Program participate in a rigorous course covering such topics as Anatomy, Physiology, basic chemistry concepts, and the science of foods and their nutritional components. You also learn how to identify and address imbalances in the body and how to intervene with nutrition to improve overall health and wellness.
Classes begin in September and are held over an 8th month period, on Saturdays and Sundays for a total of 14 days. In addition to classroom instruction, comprehensive instructional materials including student workbooks, reference materials, the lecture series on DVD and the nutritional assessment software are all included in the cost of tuition. You will participate in Instructor-led teleconference calls that review the video lecture series material. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and join in on class discussions that complement the curriculum. In addition, you may schedule individual phone conferences to clarify any questions.
The course requirements include attendance, module based homework, book reviews on all required reading, a community education project, outside client/practitioner exercises, workshops, conference calls, and successful completion of written and practical examinations. Qualifying students will be certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association.
