Web Forms Creation with InfoPath 2007 and SharePoint   NEW!

Note: Although this course includes a section on exporting forms into SharePoint Services, it is appropriate for anyone wanting to create and manage web-based forms. Collecting and sharing information with employees and customers is key to the success of most organizations. InfoPath form creation offers several benefits:
  • ease of creation without expensive development time
  • assurance that data gathered is accurate and consistent and meets your business criteria
  • the ability to make updates or revisions quickly
  • a flexible XML format compatible with multiple systems and processes
  • the ability to reuse and repurpose forms-based information
In this course, you will practice using InfoPath 2007 to create and implement interactive and dynamic input forms to streamline the process of gathering and sharing information. You will also apply security, work with distribution, and interface with databases.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
  • Create forms using InfoPath 2007
  • Test forms using the Design Checker and the Logic Inspector
  • Import and export form data
  • Customize forms with color schemes, conditional formatting, and layout tables
  • Create optional and repeating regions
  • Create custom views and ‘print version’ views
  • Apply security to forms
  • Distribute forms to email recipients
  • Manage controls
  • Create and work with dynamic forms between InfoPath and a database
  • Publish forms to web pages, shared folders and to a SharePoint Forms Library
Audience : Web-proficient forms administrators, web designers, and Microsoft Office power users who gather, distribute and collaborate using XML-based forms. Recommended prerequisites are Office applications through Level 2.
