Harness the power of SharePoint by creating your own solutions with this next generation content management application. Discover how to customize SharePoint components to match your business requirements. This course begins by exploring SharePoint’s basic functionality and builds to include the most cutting edge features essential to modern applications.

After successful completion of this course you should be able to:
  • Create SharePoint lists and libraries
  • Explain the difference between Sites, Collections and Workspaces
  • Customize your own lists and libraries
  • Implement basic workflows to manage processes
  • Describe content types and their uses
  • Build web parts to customize content
  • Set up websites quickly with SharePoint templates
  • Route information easily with Forms Services
  • Access data efficiently with Business Data Catalogs (BDCs)
Audience: Experienced .NET developers

Prerequisites: 6 months of VB.NET or C# programming experience, plus 6 months of ASP.NET.
