ASP.Net 3.5 Level 2  

This course for experienced ASP.NET developers uses hands-on exercises in the 2.0 version of .NET to expand upon the knowledge gained in the Level 1 course. Both the time and code-saving features of this new version are emphasized, using real-world examples in both Visual Basic and C#. Master pages, themes, web forms, controls, validation, roles, site navigation, security, and debugging are all covered.
Audience: programmers who have a solid understanding of ASP.Recommended Prerequisites: The ASP.NET Fundamentals or ASP.NET 2.0 Level 1 course and database programming knowledge are strongly recommended. Windows and web browsing experience are a must.
Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:
  • Navigate within Visual Studio 2005
  • Create server controls and client-side scripts
  • Develop web server controls
  • Program validation server controls
  • Work with master pages
  • Design themes and skins
  • Work with collections and lists
  • Use XML with ASP.NET
  • Secure an ASP.NET website
  • Implement Error Handling and debugging
  • Deploy an ASP.NET website
  • Improve performance
