SQL Server 2008 Database Development  

Do you need to learn how to use SQL Server 2008 to create databases? This course uses hands-on coding examples to help give you real world practice building in SQL. SQL databases can help you solve many of your agency or company's pressing challenges with collecting and reporting data.

Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course you should be able to:

  • Create data types and tables.
  • Use XML-related features in Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
  • Plan, create, and optimize indexes.
  • Implement data integrity in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 databases by using constraints.
  • Implement data integrity in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 databases by using triggers.
  • Implement views.
  • Implement basic stored procedures.
  • Implement basic functions.
