Project 2007 Application  

Have you taken the 3-day Project 2007 course but haven’t had time to apply what you learned? In this hands-on lab course you will practically apply the capabilities of Microsoft Project 2007 in a real-life project management situation. A case study will be provided, along with hands-on instruction and discussion. You will use the elements of the case study to craft a actual work plan for the case, using MS Project.

Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
  • Design a new project plan
  • Create and update a task list in Project 2007
  • Estimate task durations and enter milestones
  • Document people, equipment and material resources in Project 2007
  • Link tasks and work with task relationships
  • Assign costs to resources and resources to tasks
  • Format and print your plan in the Project 2007 Gantt chart view
  • Resolve over-allocation of resources
Intended Audience: All employees who have taken a Microsoft Project 2007 course or equivalent.
