Access 2007 VBA  

This course is for you if you have a thorough understanding of the basic and advanced features of the Access 2007 database program, and would like to build more sophisticated databases using VBA object-oriented programming. You will practice using ADO and sample source code to provide clever solutions to common problems.
Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:
  • Use ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) to retrieve and update data
  • Writing code in modules
  • Test and debug code
  • Work with classes, events, and methods
  • Build reports and web content from the database
  • Develop SQL Server solutions with Access projects
  • Fine-tune and distribute applications
  • Import, link, and export data to and from external sources
  • Send emails programmatically from Access
  • Create interactive forms
  • Export data to XML
  • Enhance security
Recommended prerequisites: Completion of Access 2007 Levels 1 through 3 is highly recommended prior to taking this class.
