Introduction to Programming  

This course is designed to offer the novice a first look at the fundamentals of programming logic. Although it uses Visual Basic for hands-on activities, it is not intended to teach Visual Basic. Participants will learn to write basic programs using concepts such as variables, constants, functions and procedures that are common to all programming languages. If you think you might be interested in becoming a programmer, this is an excellent starting class to help you make your decision. A workbook is included in the fee. It is recommended that you have taken a Windows course or have equivalent experience. An understanding of basic database functions is also helpful
