JavaScript Basic  

JavaScript is the principal complementary language for interactive design on the Web. Learn to write JavaScript code that makes your sites more interesting and exciting. Past programming experience is helpful but not necessary. Understand what JavaScript is and explore its capabilities, from eye-catching graphic tricks to form validation. Gather input from site visitors while working with variables, data types, loops, functions and conditional ‘if’ statements. Learn to use JavaScript to liven up your pages with dynamic, ‘mouse over’ images. Detect user’s browser and automatically take action. This course includes an introduction to the Document Object Model (the basis of JavaScript and many other programming languages), as well as an introduction to ‘cookies’. Analyze commonly used pieces of code and use them to enhance your own projects. A workbook is included in the fee.

It is strongly recommended that participants have completed the HTML course or have equivalent experience before taking this course.
