iOS Programming for iPhone, iPad Level 1   NEW!

iPads and iPhones are two of the most popular mobile devices in the world. Targeting native applications requires programming iOS. This class will introduce you into making native apps. We start right out by writing programs. This three day class will cover the major pieces of this technology. You will have lots of hands on and practice. To learn about web based apps take the Mobile Device iOS Web Programming Android class.

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
  • Describe what is required to make an iOS application
  • Describe the purpose and use of the App Store and how to deploy an ap
  • Understand basic Objective-C
  • Describe the major APIs within iOS including UIKit
  • Use native app features like location and accelerometer
  • Save and retrieve data using iOS native CoreData
  • Generate push notifications
  • Build location aware applications
  • Navigate and use XCode 4
Audience: Anyone who wants to program the iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch

Prerequisites: Windows or Mac OS X experience, some programming experience, C, C#, C++, Objective-C would be helpful but is not necessary.
