SQL Server 2008 Query with T-SQL Level 2   NEW!

This class builds upon the SQL Querying with Transact-SQL course and assumes that participants possess competency creating basic T-SQL statements. This course presents how to create stored procedures and provides practical advice for maximizing their use. Extended, system, and user-defined procedures are covered, as well as triggers. The course presents examples that show how stored procedures and triggers are used in the real world to implement database solutions.

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
  • Execute system-supplied stored procedures
  • Work with extended stored procedures
  • Write user-defined, temporary, and remote stored procedures
  • Implement security measures
  • Group and execute T-SQL statements using batches, scripts, and transactions
  • Implement transactions and error handling


Audience: Participants who have completed the Level 1 Transact-SQL course.
