JavaScript Level 2: jQuery   NEW!

jQuery has become the industry standard for manipulating and working with JavaScript on web pages. ASP.NET, PHP and more use this essential library to easily and quickly perform tasks that once took many lines of code. If you are working with HTML and CSS, AJAX or any other complex JavaScript coding, it is likely jQuery will make this work much easier and faster.

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
  • Describe what jQuery is and why it is used
  • Implement jQuery for both development and release web sites
  • Use jQuery to manipulate and traverse the DOM (Document Object Model)
  • Use jQuery to add animation to a web page
  • Implement AJAX calls with the jQuery engine
  • Implement JSON to send and receive data from web pages


    • Audience: Web Developers working with JavaScript

    Prerequisites: Knowledge of JavaScript Programming
