FURNITURE DESIGN  

Explore your own aesthetic, as you are exposed to the practice of studio furniture design. Class features seminars, focusing on elements of design, including: contrast, surface design, proportion, composition, material technology, and development of a formal language. Class will be organized as a group charette, brainstorming ideas generated through sketching exercises. Design or fabrication experience not required. Starting Winter 2013, tuition will include materials fee.
