Basic Tax and Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) Exam Preparation   NEW!

Interested in good paying, seasonal work with flexible hours? This basic online tax course (Federal law) is designed to provide students with the education and testing skills needed to pass a new required federal examination. Class is suitable for beginner students who want to enter the tax preparation industry for the first time or experienced tax professionals who want to expand and build upon their existing knowledge base. The Internal Revenue Service implemented tax preparer competency exams in October 2011. The test covers individual 1040 tax law. New preparers and those without Preparer Tax Identification Numbers need to pass the exam this year. Existing preparers have until the end of 2013.

This is an online self-paced course. Students can access it anywhere, anytime. Computer and internet access required. Students must provide their e-mail address at the time of registration.
