This course is designed to develop skills with applying basic arithmetic concepts to everyday problems associated with water and wastewater system operations. By applying techniques and methods presented in this course water system operators will be able to solve everyday operation and maintenance problems insuring adequate quantity, pressure and quality of drinking water that will protect public health and wastewater operators will be able to solve common problems to insure compliance with state rules to insure protection of the enrivonment. 1.4 CEU.
Meets WA Department of Health Relevancy Criteria for Waterworks Operator Professional Growth. Meets WA Department of Ecology Criteria for Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and will earn Wastewater CEU.
