OPERATOR REPORTING AND REPORT WRITING   NEW!

Public Drinking Water and Wastewater systems are required to submit reports demonstrating operational conditions of their systems to regulatory agencies. This course will give attendees the knowledge of what reports are required, how the reports are used in operation of their system, and how to effectively and accurately complete those reports - focusing on the reporting, reports and forms required in the State of Washington. Students will learn the basics of completing computerized reports as well as learn the basics of writing reports to supervisors, boards or city council about water or wastewater system incidents, requirements, updates, and other situations that would require a written report. Students will also learn how to create, complete, maintain, and store water and wastewater system maintenance reports and records. 0.7 CEU.

Meets WA Department of Health Relevancy Criteria for Waterworks Operator Professional Growth. Meets WA Department of Ecology Criteria for Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and will earn Wastewater CEU.
