Community Conversation: Verde River, an Economy for a Sustainable Future   NEW!

Project CENTRL (Center for Rural Leadership), Verde Valley Regional Economic Organization, Verde Watershed Association, and The Nature Conservancy will be hosting a community conversation Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 2 -5:00 p.m. at Yavapai College - Verde Valley Campus. In facilitated group discussions, participants will share perspectives regarding economic opportunities a healthy Verde River can provide to citizens of the Verde Valley. Discussion will focus on promoting and protecting the Verde River, while providing opportunity for sustainable business growth. The public's input will be compiled, summarized and form the basis for an economic development action plan. No charge to attend, but registration is required! Questions?
