Viticulture: Wine Appreciation
Welcome to the world of wine! This course will provide you with basic knowledge necessary to navigate the world of wine. Gain introductory knowledge of wine producing regions and winemaking styles. Learn about food and wine pairings, explore wine lists, and learn to serve wine. Includes sensory evaluation of representative wines. Must be 21 years or older to enroll. Wine distributor, restauranteur, hotelier and entertainer, Tom Pitts, will guide your tour through the world of wine! Class meets at Yavapai College - Verde Valley Campus.
