Home & Garden: Bathroom Planning & Design

The bathroom is a very important space in a dwelling, serving all family members daily. While each individual will use the bathroom differently, many people are now expecting bathrooms to fulfill more than just the basic “scrub down”. The class will explore many of these expectations and apply them to the design of bathrooms. Participants will understand the principals of efficient bathroom layouts from the perspective of bathing as well as physical health and relaxation. The class will look at design as both an art and a science. New trends in the use of space, materials, lighting, and plumbing will be presented.
