Teacher Academy
Yavapai College will be hosting the fifth annual Teacher Academy in Prescott
this June & July. Teachers will have the option to choose from two di fferent
dates in Prescott.
This year’s Teacher Academy is designed for educators in diverse K-12 settings.
The emphasis will be on how to create, deliver, and evaluate web 2.0
technologies eff ectively into instruction and the impact these emerging
technologies have on the entire educational environment. This immersive
day-long workshop will provide K-12 instructors with the opportunity to create
content that is immediately useful in the classroom. The fee for the day long
event is $50 and includes coff ee, pastries, and lunch! Topics covered include:

* Wikis
* Document and Photo Sharing
* Social Networks
* Web Conferencing
