Southwest Indians: The People    NEW!

Our neighbors, the native peoples living in the Southwest, have lived and prospered in this area for centuries, long before the Europeans arrived. Explore the culturally rich and diverse contemporary and ancient ways of the native peoples of the Southwest with an emphasis on the Hopi, Navajo, Apache and Pueblo Peoples. With a focus on their relationships to the land, each other and non-Indians, this is an opportunity to appreciate their individual histories, traditions, arts, spiritual ways and relationships with each other and the U.S. government. Enjoy lectures, discussions, films, guest presenters and possible optional guided field trips to meet The People in their communities on reservation lands.
