Acrylics, Beginning (incl some mat'l) - Carson

This course introduces students to the painting process, familiarizes them with materials, and teaches procedures and methods for creating a successful painting. You'll learn essential elements of painting such as composition, value, and color relationships. You'll learn to work "large" as you study various styles of acrylic painting. This class is for students with NO prior painting experience. Cost of supplies is $100-$125, depending on where they are purchased; supplies will be discussed at the first class. Students should bring whatever painting supplies they have: brushes, paint, canvas, pencil, paper, etc.
