Hands On: Real Time Stock Market Investing with Gatis Roze
Instructor Gatis Roze, an MBA graduate of the Stanford Business School, is a Certified Market Technician (CMT) and the past president of the Technical Securities Analysts Association (TSAA). After several successful entrepreneurial ventures, he has been a full-time money manager of his own account for over twenty years. He is not affiliated with any marketing organizations. As the title implies, this class focuses real-time on the present stock market. In each class, we dissect the prevailing market trends, explore various asset allocations, consider breadth indicators and key industries, all resulting in a lively discussion about specific stocks, ETFs and Mutual Funds.
Students will also fine tune their skills in class with buy and sell action trade exercises. We’ll harness the power of the Web in our real-time internet-enabled classroom where participants are encouraged to submit their own equities for analysis. We’ll use the same tools and disciplines professionals do as we work towards increasing the probability of making consistent winning trades while judiciously protecting our profits.
Action-oriented investors will enjoy the step-by-step top-down analysis. Longer term investors will feel comfortable with tools that emphasize the monitoring of existing positions balanced with a healthy dose of money management rules and clear reward to risk calculations.
We invite you to join us and other like-minded investors for seven Wednesday evening sessions as we put our finger on the pulse of the stock market.
We are fortunate to also have investor Per Thomassen joining us this semester. Per spent his career in the International world of ships and ocean freight. He holds an MBA from the University of Colorado and has been active managing his own account for over a decade.
