Software Test Engineer Certificate Capstone   

Utilize the STE skills gained in the program to create the foundational component of your portfolio.

Competencies:

  • Determine an effective test approach for the application under development by using all available resources including specifications and working code (C#)
  • Demonstrate ability to create a software testing environment
  • Demonstrate ability to create a software test environment
  • Define and execute two test passes by utilizing the skills acquired from the curriculum
  • Identify and report issues and bugs found during test execution
  • Present final evaluation and project documentation to instructor


The final class in the Software Test Engineer Certificate requires students to utilize the skills gained throughout the program. The project will be the foundational component of the student’s professional portfolio. Students are expected to create a test plan and execute test cases, file and regress bugs, develop test automation, provide reports on test results and make a final evaluation of the application.

Prerequisite:

  • Successful completion of all required classes
