Washington Real Estate Fundamentals
This Washington State DOL-approved entry-level course is designed for buyers, sellers, investors, and any others interested in obtaining a real estate license. Topics include ownership rights, contract law, agency law, listing agreements and procedures, the selling process, valuation, finance, leasing, property management, landlord tenant law, license law and fair housing.
Required texts: Mastering Real Estate Principles, 6th ed. Real Estate Education Company. All Real Estate textbooks are available to purchase at the Main Campus bookstore.
Note: Students may complete the full state-mandated requirements for those obtaining their first Broker's license after July 1,2010 at Bellevue College by completing both of the following classes: "Washington Real Estate Fundamentals” (60-hour) and "Real Estate Practices” (30-hour). Registration is open the first three weeks of the quarter. Students must complete the course by the end of the quarter.
