The Italian Renaissance
Join us on a journey through the conception and early development of Western civilization’s artistic traditions. In this slide lecture/discussion based class, we will chronicle the lives and achievements of some of Arts greatest practitioners such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Titian, as well as lesser known but important contributors that made this epoch of Italian Art History so influential. Lessons include Italian vocabulary, history and geography, wonderful preparation for a trip to Italy.
