Beating the New SAT for Teens - Verbal Only  

Robert Lycan, verbal specialist, Washington Certified Teacher with 30+ years of teaching experience and SAT success will provide tactics for essay writing and strategies for the m-c writing test. The students will gain techniques on sentence completion and critical reading. A unique vocabulary book will aid verbal retention with root-prefix study. The students will also acquire lifelong memory, speed reading, study skills, and tips for faster and thorough comprehension. Textbooks required: the Official SAT Study Guide for the New SAT by the College Board and Powerwords by Robert Lycan (available at BC North Campus bookstore). Must sign up for each SAT section individually, may use the SAT Study Guide for both classes.
