Managing Test Anxiety in Today's Competitive Environment NEW!

This insightful and practical presentation will examine how today's culture can undermine, rather than encourage, our students' success on two of the most stressful standardized tests—the SAT and the ACT—and what strategies we can use in tackling this problem. In recent years these tests have become disproportionately important and contribute to the intense competition for admission at major colleges and universities across the country. We will talk about the role that anxiety and self-concept play on standardized tests and what we as coaches, counselors, tutors, and parents might think about and do to help students through that process.
